Vision & Values

The Link School is an alternative learning provider working with young learners and their families across the City of Sunderland. There are two sites; The Link School, Springwell Dene which works with learners across Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 and The Link School, Pallion, which provides education for learners at Key Stage 4.

The school has a strong focus on emotional well being and ensures that is is an important part of the Link School for both pupils and staff. Mindfulness and working together drive this across the school.

The school actively encourages learners to participate in fundraising activities for charitable causes. There are three charities supported each year including

Macmillan Cancer – https://www.macmillan.org.uk/

Washington Mind – https://washingtonmind.org.uk/

Blesmahttps://blesma.org/

plus two other charities chosen by staff and learners. One of which this year was Young Minds – #HellowYellow  https://www.youngminds.org.uk/support-us/fundraising/helloyellow/
