McMillan Charity Coffee Morning 6th October 2023

Dear Parents/Carers,

We hope you have had a brilliant summer and we thank you for your support in helping us begin the year so successfully. I am writing to you today with an important date for your diary. The date is Friday 6th October 2023 when we will be holding a coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. The coffee morning will take place between 10.45am and 12.00 pm at The Link School, Springwell Dene. The pupils are very keen to raise money for this important charity and have planned a morning full of coffee, tasty cakes and treats. We believe that it is important that we work together to ensure your child has every opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the community. It will also enable you to have some time to meet with staff and pupils. In order to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, we are asking learners to bring in some money to buy cakes (with prices ranging from 20p to £1). All money raised will go to Macmillan charity.

We hope to see you at the Coffee Morning.
