Year 10
We are writing to inform you of some changes to the current timetable arrangements. These arrangements are being put in place to assist our Year 11 learners during the GCSE examination period. During this important time (15.5.23 – 23.6.23) your child will continue, to be expected, to attend school on a daily basis.
The timing of the school day for Year 10 learners will be as follows:
Monday – Thursday 11.00am – 3.00pm
Friday 11.00am – 12.30pm
Learners will still follow their core curriculum of English, Maths, Science and PSHE with some additional vocational activities included in the timetable.
We appreciate your understanding during this period of the year, and we will return to a more normalised timetable towards the end of June, when your child transitions into Year 11. Should you or them have any further questions or require additional support, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Other dates to note, when school will be closed to learners, include:
Monday 3rd July – INSET Day
