We recently invited our friends and family of The Link School to a coffee morning, supporting the local branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Raising a total of £521, this proved to be our most successful fund raising event yet. We are so grateful that so many people turned up and supported us, enjoying our raffles, cake stalls, nail art, shoot the hoop and our Tombola steals the show every time!
It’s very important to us to support local charities as much as we can and help our learners develop an understanding of the importance of supporting those less fortunate than ourselves in different ways. Some of our staff have members of their family that live with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) which is a condition that attacks the nerves ending within the body; this affects each individual to varying degrees. Our funds raised will directly go toward supporting those diagnosed in our local area and we were very grateful to the attendance of the societies Branch Secretary, Helen Brown and Branch Chairman, Carl Brown.
A great big thank you to everyone for their continued help and support!
