The government has announced that schools will reopen to all pupils from 8 March. In terms of The Link School, we have been open throughout and we are very much looking forward to welcoming back more of our pupils to face-to-face education.

From today, the self-isolation period for close contacts of a positive case of coronavirus (COVID-19) has changed from 14 to 10 days. This change applies to all those who are currently self-isolating including those who commenced self-isolation before today.

Sunderland Fish Quay
As part of the food curriculum, our learners have to complete a unit on meat, fish and vegetables. As a result, our learners were invited to visit the fish quay in Sunderland, to gain experience of how it operates and provide them with hands on experience.
